Terms of Service

The service
Maguro Web Design designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites. The Maguro Plan covers a custom website of up to 5 pages, hosting, maintenance, content edits, and support for a monthly fee. Bespoke projects are scoped and quoted individually in a written proposal.
Term and billing
The Maguro Plan has a 12-month initial term, billed monthly. After the initial term, the plan continues month-to-month at the same rate, covering hosting, maintenance, and edits. Either party may end the month-to-month arrangement with 30 days' written notice. When the plan ends for any reason, hosting stops and the site is taken offline — the monthly fee is what keeps it live, the same way a streaming or hosting subscription works. If you'd like to keep the site running on your own after ending the plan, a buyout of the design and code is available any time (see Ownership, below).
Ownership
Your domain name and your content (text, images, and materials you provide) are yours, always. The design and code we create are licensed to you for the duration of your plan. A full buyout of the design and code is available at any time — request a written quote.
Our commitments
We respond to support and edit requests within 24 hours on business days. We keep your site hosted, secured, and updated. If we ever miss the standard we advertise, tell us — we'll make it right.
Your commitments
You provide timely feedback during the build, content you have the rights to use, and accurate business information. Launch timelines assume feedback within 2 business days at each approval gate.
Liability
We build carefully, but no website provider can guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific business results. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 3 months.
